Birthing and Parenting Preparation Weekend Workshops

I had a fantastic birthing experience which I like to share with clients but when I got home with my newborn, we were at a loss at what to do next! We simply had only prepared for delivery. So my Preparation Workshops cover positive birthing, hypno-birthing, teaches self-hypnosis, pain management, acupressure, nutrition, the first six weeks, what it is to ‘parent’, parenting models, identity - letting go of the old and forming the new, guided therapy/hypnosis, bonding as a family and avoiding the buying trap. This is an intimate weekend workshop in the comfort of my home with limited places - so booking essential.

Workshops are a great way to meet other local parents-to-be with similar due dates. It’s also a chance to consider what having a child actually means for you, for your relationship and what kind of ‘parent’ you want to be.

Liz packed in so much information, alerted us to things we hadn’t even considered and left us feeling calm, confident and excited about meeting our baby next month

I was lucky enough to have an amazing birthing experience, so it’s great to share this with other parents-to-be. However, we felt very ‘lost’ once we got home with this tiny baby and didn’t know what to do next. So, my workshops combine before AND after giving birth. The workshops include nutrition, acupressure, massage, birth plans, pain relief, guided hypnosis and coaching in self-hypnosis, meditation and mindfulness. There’s also advice on essential ‘must-have’s’, do’s, don’ts, self-care and avoiding the buying trap. This course is a holistic approach to not just birthing but becoming a parent too.
